» Praxis Parapro Exam
ETS's ParaPro Assessment was developed in response to the federal legislation known as No Child Left Behind. The law requires paraprofessionals serving in an instructional capacity to meet the definition of Highly Qualified. The test is 2 ½ hours and consists of 90 multiple-choice questions in the core subject areas of reading, writing, and math. Approximately two-thirds of the questions focus on basic skills and knowledge, while the remaining one-third focuses on applying skills in the classroom.
The exam is offered twice per month. The cost for the exam is $45.00. A prepaid nonrefundable money order is the only acceptable method of payment. The money order is to be written to East Baton Rouge Parish School System. Please contact Sharlene Gillespie to receive more information and/or to scehdule an appointment @ 922-5609.
